2016 Renovations / Upgrades

This past spring, we have focused on resort-wide improvements to The Villas at Tree Tops and Fairway and Fernwood Resort. This includes enhancements to interiors such as new bedding, laminate flooring, flat-screen televisions, and kitchen upgrades, as well as exterior improvements such as new roofs, beautiful gardens, courtyard refurbishing, siding, repainting and paving.

We have been adding to our ever-growing list of year-round amenities over the past season; we have added a new trampoline attraction, two children’s ropes courses, and a new zip line course at Pocono TreeVentures. These attractions join our other amenities, such as an 18 hole par 71 golf course, Pocono TreeVentures aerial ropes adventure course, Blue Lightning all-season tubing, Pocono Zip Racer dual racing zip lines, Wintergreens Patio Grill with live entertainment, canoeing on the Delaware River, horseback riding, massage, mini golf, paintball, indoor and outdoor pools, bumper boats and Valley Station video game area.
 
We will continue to expand our amenities and upgrade our facilities to provide outstanding vacation ownership experiences and memories.

We welcome Chuck Donnelly as our new Chief Operating Officer who joined the team in February 2016. His full focus is on improving the operations, cleanliness and maintenance of The Villas, and he has wasted no time jumping right in. If you get out and visit us this spring, you will see a great deal of activity all over the Resort with construction and renovations taking place on over half the villas. New flooring, roofs, furniture, beds, bedding, entry stairs, kitchen appliances and flat screen televisions are being installed. There will also be improvements at Wintergreens Patio Grill and we replaced half of the sand bunkers on the golf course last year and are continuing that project this season. You will see Chuck out and about supervising staff and construction and when you do, be sure to say hello.

Bushkill Group Inc. Completes $3 Million In Resort Renovations

BUSHKILL, PA (SPRING 2016) – Bushkill Group Inc. owners of The Villas at Tree Tops and Fairway and Fernwood Resort have announced the completion of a $3 million dollar Resort renovation project overseen by the company’s new Chief Operating Officer, Chuck Donnelly. Andy Worthington, President and CEO of Bushkill Group Inc., stated, “Our continued strong business performance has helped us make the decision to increase our reinvestment in improvements to the Resort, implemented by our new COO Chuck Donnelly.” He continues, “We have been expanding our property over the past two years with the addition of all season tubing, an aerial ropes adventure course, zip lines and a new Check-in Center. This spring we focused on resort-wide improvements to our villas and infrastructure which includes a trampoline attraction, two new children’s ropes courses and a new zip line course at Pocono TreeVentures.”

  Improvements to villas included changes and upgrades to interiors that installed new bedding, flooring, flat-screen televisions, and kitchen upgrades.   The Villas at Tree Tops and Fairway encompass a 400-acre Resort that borders on the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation area. It offers accommodation in 650 one-to-four bedroom fully furnished villas. Our RCI Point Owners have been taking full advantage of their memberships this past summer for memorable vacations.

While many members still continue to enjoy Florida destinations, others are travelling all across the country to many great locations such as Port O’Call in Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, Kings Creek Plantation in Williamsburg, Virginia and Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Connecticut.

One member used their points for a 2-week vacation. They spent one week at WorldMark Wine Country Sonoma County in California, where they enjoyed horseback riding through the vineyards. For their second week they went to Rockaway Beach Resort in Oregon and enjoyed whale watching and fishing.

Another member booked a trip using Last Call Vacations at the Westwind Club in the Bahamas for a full week for less than $700.00. They enjoyed the private beach at the resort. They also rented a sailboat and spent the day snorkeling.
